Keeping Warm and Saving Energy - at our drop-in event
We had an excellent day at our annual drop-in event in Coleford despite the first storm of the Autumn!
Here are a few photos to give a flavour of day! From smart plugs to insulated kettles, from thermal imaging cameras to draught excluders, shower timers and radiators keys, advice leaflets, solar panels and batteries, insulation and heated throws...
Plus chatting with local people about their experiences of heat-pumps, solar panels, and grants!
Warm Homes Loan Scheme Launched
The UK Government has launched the Warm Homes Loan Scheme, part of the Warm Homes Plan, which will help households access more affordable finance for home energy improvements to make their homes warmer and more energy efficient.
The Scheme will help eligible homeowners and private landlords reduce or remove the upfront cost of improvements such as heat pumps, solar panels and battery storage by enabling them to spread the cost over time.
Households should still contact Warm and Well for advice, support and possible grant funding.

Many thanks to Severn Wye Energy Agency, Evolve, and Nimbus Solar for sharing their knowledge and expertise!

And of course - a thousand thanks to our brilliant volunteers!

See you next year!
